Tourism Geraldton

Tourism Geraldton is made up of Tourism industry stakeholders in the City of Greater Geraldton and our region.

Formed in May 2017 and initially funded by ‘Progress Midwest’ (a subsidiary entity of the City of Greater Geraldton), Tourism Geraldton is working to identify and accelerate ‘transformational’ initiatives for Tourism by fostering greater collaboration and partnerships between industry and Government to attract the capital and expertise necessary to deliver ‘game changing’ tourism attractions, events and projects to grow our Tourism economy, employment and community benefits from Tourism.

Our regional objectives closely align with and support your Government’s objective of growing the annual economic benefit of Tourism in Western Australia to $12 billion by 2018, with a core economic objective being to grow our local Tourism economy from around $150m a year now to around $200m a year by 2018.
